1. Form the NGAP Sri Lanka National committee in order to commission the NGAP Sri Lanka programme officially.

1.1 Description – Composition of this committee is referred in the Terms of Reference, Sec. 07 attached hereto.

1.2 Target – By two weeks

1.3 Responsible – CAASL Board

1.4 Remarks – Members of National committee shall be issued with official appointment letter and members of Volunteer Consultancy Group, NGAP volunteer enabler group & implementing supportive group shall be appointed to accomplish initial stage requirements.

2. Undertake statistical forecasting for Human Resource needs of Sri Lanka Civil Aviation Industry till 2030.

2.1 Description – ICAO, a specialized international body for Civil Aviation, published the forecasting outputs subjected to human resource needs for next 20 years to highlight the lack of harmonized competencies in some aviation disciplines. Accordingly, NGAP SL Programme will undertake statistical forecasting for state Civil Aviation industry to identify the human resource needs till 2030 by the way used by ICAO.

2.2 Target – By Six months

2.3 Responsible person/ committee – NGAP Sri Lanka Programme National Committee

2.4 Remarks - Present human resource strength in professional disciplines shall be gathered through RDPSP section, CAASL.

3. Create enthusiasm video clip/ showcase covering programme objectives, past lessons of NGAP Sri Lanka Programme performed and future targets to be achieved which entrance the beneficiaries. This shall be aimed to be displayed at the Civil Aviation Day being celebrated on 07 December 2017 and at ICAN conference scheduled to be held on end of this year.

3.1 Description – showcase shall be produced by Providing excellent content with tallying rhythmic audio which can instantly grab a viewer’s attention and an easy, shareable way to communicate

3.2 Target – By Seven months

3.3 Responsible person/ committee – Special team to be appointed by NGAP Sri Lanka National Committee

4. Create the fresh NGAP Sri Lanka Programme website by Scrutinizing the present NGAP SL Webpage to visualize the required raw data and other details.

4.1 Description - Present NGAP SL webpage with required design format, shall be taken into concern to develop and free and open-source content concept to increase visibility of this programme. Each activities, projects and other required details shall be updated as when require. It will be the easy accessible resource for beneficiaries.

4.2 Target – By Six months

4.3 Responsible person/ committee - Special team to be appointed by National Sri Lanka National committee

4.4 Remarks – present web-page shall be linked with new web-site. Specific logo for NGAP SL Programme shall be designed and published in the web to make this programme professional.

5. Preparation of NGAP Sri Lanka Programme Guideline

5.1 Description - The programme guideline is the ultimate reference book for anyone interested in knowing how programme works, how to apply for projects, how to benefit from the policy learning platform services, how to implement activities and report them.

5.2 Target – By Four months

5.3 Responsible person/ committee – NGAP Sri Lanka National Committee

5.4 Remarks - It may be amended and re-published each time as when required with authority approval.

6. Develop an NGAP Sri Lanka Programme Master Action Plan composed of action steps that address all proposed activities and projects.

6.1 Description - A Master Action Plan can help NGAP SL Programme turn our visions into reality, and increase efficiency and accountability which may further describes the way this Pro will meet its objectives through detailed action steps that describe how and when these steps will be taken.

6.2 Target – By Six months

6.3 Responsible person/ committee – NGAP Sri Lanka National Programme Committee and other relevant committees/ groups to be formed in future

6.4 Remarks - It may be amended and re-published each time as when required with authority approval.

7. Preparation of activity guidelines which is consisting of step-by-step information on how to execute a task/ activity elements.

7.1 Description - It shall be developed for set of step-by-step instructions compiled by an NGAP SL Programme to help implementing staffs carry out routine operations and to increase the operational efficiency.

7.2 Target – By Six months

7.3 Responsible person/ committee – NGAP Sri Lanka Programme National Committee and other relevant committees/ groups to be formed in future

7.4 Remarks – this describes the regular recurring activities appropriate to quality operations which may be required to be modified and updated as when required.

8. Prepare the NGAP Sri Lanka programme Annual work Plan & Estimated budget based on Master action plan for year of 2018.

8.1 Description – CAASL authority approval shall be obtained to implement.

8.2 Target – By six months

8.3 Responsible person/ committee – NGAP Sri Lanka National Committee
